These are the Terms and Conditions for the Dadventure Sorrento promotion, conducted by The Sorrento Portsea Chamber of Commerce.

1. Promotion details

Promoter: The Sorrento Portsea Chamber of Commerce (ABN 72 201 079 429) of 860 Melbourne Rd, Sorrento, VIC ("Promoter", "we", "us").
Promotion: Dadventure Sorrento ("Promotion").
Promotional Period: entries open Sunday 23 August 2026 at 9:00am and close Sunday 6 September 2026 at 11:50pm ("Promotional Period"). All times are AEST.
Draw date and location: Wednesday 9 September 2026 at 11:00am, conducted at 1 Ocean Beach Rd, Sorrento.
Winner notification: within 7 days of the draw, by email.

2. Eligibility

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over, except employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, and any agency or supplier associated with the conduct of this Promotion.
Entrants must have made a genuine, eligible purchase described in clause 3 during the Promotional Period.

During the Promotional Period, spend $35 or more in a single transaction at any business within Sorrento Village.
Keep the original, itemised receipt or invoice for that purchase. You must be able to produce this receipt if selected as a winner — see clause 6.
Visit sorrento.org.au/fathers-day and submit the entry form with your full name, email address, and the receipt or invoice number shown on your receipt, before the Promotional Period closes.
Limit of one entry per receipt.
Incomplete, illegible, fraudulent or duplicated entries, and entries not submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, may be deemed invalid at the Promoter's discretion.

Prize: one $250 gift card, redeemable at participating businesses within Sorrento Village ("Prize"). Number of winners: 1.
The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, in whole or in part, except at the Promoter's sole discretion.
If the prize (or part of it) becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written direction of a regulator.

The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period, on Wednesday 9 September 2026 at 11:00am, at 1 Ocean Beach Rd, Sorrento, using a random number generator against the exported entry list.
Two (2) reserve winners will be drawn at the same time and contacted in order if a preceding winner is ineligible, cannot be verified under clause 6, or does not respond in time.

The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw, using the details provided at entry.
To claim the prize, the winner must, within 7 days of notification, provide a clear photo or scan of the original receipt or invoice bearing the same receipt/invoice number entered into the Promotion, plus any other information reasonably requested to verify the entry.
If the winner cannot produce a matching, valid receipt in this time, does not respond in time, or is found ineligible, the prize is forfeited and awarded to the next reserve winner under clause 5, and this process repeats.
The Promoter's decision on any aspect of the Promotion, including verification of entries and winners, is final and binding; no correspondence will be entered into.

By entering, entrants consent to the Promoter collecting and using their personal information (name, email, phone number, and receipt/invoice details) to conduct and promote this Promotion, including contacting entrants and winners.
Where necessary to verify a winner's entry, the Promoter may share the receipt or purchase details entered with the specific participating Sorrento Village business named on that receipt, solely to confirm the purchase is genuine. Entrant information is not otherwise shared with participating businesses.
Entries are accessed only by Chamber staff, committee members and volunteers involved in administering this Promotion.
The winner's first name and suburb may be published on the Promoter's website and social channels to announce the result.
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy at sorrento.org.au/privacy-policy. It will not be used for other marketing without separate consent, and is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to run the Promotion and meet legal obligations.
Entrants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information by contacting info@sorrento.org.au.

Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter may verify the validity of entries and entrants at any time, and disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or who engages in fraudulent or improper conduct.
The Promoter may amend, suspend or terminate the Promotion, or these Terms and Conditions, where required by law or by circumstances outside its reasonable control, subject to any written direction of a regulator.
The Promoter is a business association representing independent businesses within Sorrento Village and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, services, trading conditions or availability of any participating business, including honouring or redeeming the Prize. Participating businesses are not agents of the Promoter, and any dispute about a purchase made to enter the Promotion, or about redeeming the Prize, is between the entrant and that business.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for loss, damage, personal injury or death arising from the Promotion or the Prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
