Dive into one of Sorrento’s signature summer events at the 2027 Sorrento Bay Swim, an annual open-water swim supporting the volunteer-run Sorrento Surf Life Saving Club.Approximately 600 swimmers will take part across three courses on Sorrento’s bay foreshore, with funds raised helping the club keep local beaches safer, deliver junior surf awareness programs, and maintain vital rescue equipment.Course schedule:4,000m swim: starts west of Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron at 10:00am.600m swim: starts near the Sorrento Beach amenities block at 10:15am.2,000m swim: starts from Sullivans Bay at 10:55am.All courses finish on the Sorrento Foreshore, just west of The Baths Sorrento. Start times are scheduled near high tide to support better swimming conditions, with wave starts of up to 60 swimmers every five minutes.
