Koonya Hotel

The Koonya has stood on the Esplanade since 1876 and turns 150 in 2026, which makes it older than almost everything around it, including the pier traffic it watches.Public bar, lounge bar, bistro, private dining and a beer garden, on the site of the original beer garden and dining room. Beer on tap, Mornington Peninsula wine, spritzes and cocktails, non-alcoholic spirits, pub classics and modern Australian cooking, with oysters shucked to order and a crab menu when it runs. Seven days, lunch and dinner from midday, with free parking at the rear.
