Hotel Sorrento has stood on Hotham Road since 1872 and has been held by the same family for three generations, which is a rare thing on this coast. Its 58 rooms and suites were rebuilt around European oak, limestone, travertine and marble, and the clifftop position means the bay does most of the work from the bars and the rooftop. The dining rooms lean on local produce and dishes made to share; the bars pour local wine and cocktails with the water in view. There is a pool, wellness facilities, and boardroom and conference space with AV for anyone bringing work down with them.Rooms and tables can both be booked through the website.
