Things to do in Sorrento
The sand-dune links courses of the southern peninsula are some of the most admired in the country. Wind off two bays, firm fairways through moonah and tea-tree, and views of the ocean from the high tees: golf here is as much about the landscape as the scorecard.

The village’s own club sits on the high ground between the bay and the ocean. It is a member club that takes visitors on set days, so check tee times before you plan a round.
A few minutes west, Portsea Golf Club winds through coastal bushland towards the end of the peninsula. Like Sorrento, it is a member club with visitor access on set days.
About 20 minutes away at Fingal, Moonah Links and St Andrews Beach are links courses laid out across the dune country behind the ocean beaches. Pair a round with an afternoon at the nearby hot springs.
The Dunes at Rye is a public links course, close to the village and popular with visitors for its open, rolling layout.
Towards Cape Schanck, The National Golf Club spreads several courses across the clifftops and hinterland, around half an hour from Sorrento.
